From here, you can reach Erfurts main railway station - which is an important hub for German rail traffic - within about 30 minutes by train, and thus enjoy a direct connection to the ICE hub network. The well-positioned production hall is located west of Kölleda, near the small Sömmerda-Dermsdorf airfield - which, it should be noted, is not suitable for passenger or cargo aircraft. The nearest (and largest) airport in Thuringia, Erfurt-Weimar Airport, can be reached by car in about 30 minutes, and is only around 46 km away, while Leipzig/Halle Airport is about 1 hour and 15 minutes or 117 km away.
